Computer Viruses

1.    A Worm virus is a program that spreads from computer to computer via the internet.
2.    A Trojan horse is a virus that is disguised as a harmless file. Once inside, it causes harm to your computer or files.
3.    Spyware is a program that tracks and monitors users and sometimes sends information to another person.
4.    Rogue security software is a program that tricks the buyer into paying for fake or simulated software remover.

There are many ways a virus can get onto a computer, by accepting without reading, downloading damaged software, not running the latest updates, and by opening email attachments.

If your computer is slow, if programs are starting automatically, or if you are getting unexpected messages.

You can avoid unsafe sites, keep you antivirus software up to date, and avoiding email from unknown people.
